Hi ! My name is Loane and I am 12 years old. I’m a French teenager and I live in Levallois next to Paris, the capital city of France. Last winter, with my father, we went to New York City, one of the most famous cities in the world !
First, I visited the most interesting museum in the world ! It is the Museum of Modern Art. It opened in 1929, so it is very old ! It’s located in Manhattan and its nickname is the MOMA. In the museum, I saw fascinating modern paintings. I was so amazed when I saw them ! I watched a short movie on Van Gogh and I attended an art workshop. I also boughtthe most beautiful painting in the city ! If YOU go to the MoMa, you are going to see the best modern paintings in the city !
The following day we decided to see the Statue of Liberty ! It is so huge, it is about 46 meters high ! I was so impressed when I saw it ! Did you know the statue was a gift from the French to the Americans ? We are so generous . The green girl symbolizes freedom, of course. With my father, we slept in a big palace with a view on the Statue of Liberty, itw as so gorgeous when we awoke ! And we ate the best bagels of my life !
